Lobby Donor Wall
Our Donor Wall in the Hospital’s front lobby is a tribute to the many individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations, which have given a cumulative total of $5,000 or more to the Foundation since its incorporation in 1979.
Each plaque may include the names of individuals, families, organizations, foundations or companies. Plaques may also represent donations received for any individual a donor wishes to honour.
Plaques are added when a donor has reached a cumulative total of $5,000 or more. Many donors choose to make a pledge commitment that they pay over time, making it easier to give a major gift to support the Niagara Health System – Welland Hospital Site. Donors have the opportunity to move up through the different levels as their giving total increases.
The wall is updated at least quarterly to include the names of new donors while moving some donors up to a higher category.
Donors are recognized at the following levels of giving:
- Benefactor $1,000,000 +
- Founder $500,000 – $999,999
- Pillar $250,000 – $499,999
- Partner $100,000 – $249,999
- Fellow $50,000 – $99,999
- Patron $25,000 – $49,999
- Sponsor $10,000 – $24,999
- Supporter $5,000 – $9,999
