Your donation will improve access to quality healthcare and make Niagara a leader in the vital areas of cancer care, kidney dialysis, and treatment of mental illness and heart disease.

Niagara communities working together to fund excellence in healthcare

People are at the heart of our health-care system. We are fortunate to have very skilled and dedicated doctors, nurses and other health professionals who provide excellent care, while making the most efficient use of the resources available in our region. However, they continue to be challenged to maintain these standards due to the lack of state-of-the-art facilities and the additional equipment they urgently need.

To develop facilities, including the new health-care complex, and improve existing NHS hospital sites, the Niagara Health System Foundation, in partnership with each of the local hospital foundations is coordinating the It’s Our Time Campaign.

This Campaign is the NHS’s first region-wide health-care fundraising initiative to bring much-needed health-care programs and services closer to home in Niagara. It is centered on raising $40 million to fund renovations or new facilities and equipment to develop regional programs related to the four leading chronic diseases in Niagara – cancer, cardiac, chronic kidney and mental health diseases.
